All of a sudden, after six years of being available there, Leo Hohmann’s popular work Stealth Invasion has been pulled from Amazon without any explanation.
With many five-star reviews, and more than 135 reviews total, Stealth Invasion is apparently quite popular among readers. Even so, Amazon decided to scrap it, telling Hohmann that a “re-review” of it “determined that it includes content against our Content Guidelines.”
“The primary purpose is to paint Muslim immigration to the U.S. and Europe as treacherous, violent and as a weapon used by the Muslim Brotherhood to change the U.S. from inside,” Amazon further explained to Hohmann about why it pulled his book.
Hohmann is still not sure who decided to go after him and why, especially six years after it was published. His best guess is that “someone or some group with clout, and perhaps sympathetic to the Muslim Brotherhood and its mission, contacted Amazon to complain about Steal Invasion.”
“Why else would Amazon ban a book they’ve had available on their site for six years, suddenly considering it in violation of their guidelines and pull it?” he writes. “If it was hate speech now why wasn’t it hate speech from 2017 through the end of 2022 and into early 2023?”
(Related: During covid, Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren demanded that Amazon remove all books and materials exposing the “pandemic” as a scam.)
Ironically enough, Amazon’s one-sentence response upholding its decision to ban Stealth Invasion is “actually quite accurate,” according to Hohmann, who still maintains that Muslim immigration both in the U.S. and Europe is treacherous, violent, and being used as a weapon to transform these places from the inside out.
“These three themes are all meticulously documented and footnoted in the book, all from open-source records like newspapers and websites and government documents that are available to everyone,” Hohmann says.
“For me to gather that data and present it in book form is now suddenly regarded as ‘hate speech.'”
As of this writing, Stealth Invasion is still available for sale at Barnes and Noble. And it is probably best not to support Amazon anyway, seeing as how it has morphed into one of the most egregiously tyrannical retailers on the planet.
According to Hohmann, the information contained in Stealth Invasion is still just as relevant today as when it was first published in 2017, “and all of the trends explored in the book have only gotten worse since the advent of the Biden administration,” he maintains.
Author and historian Robert Spencer wrote a piece commenting on Amazon’s book banning of Stealth Invasion, noting that a dangerous precedent has been set for the removal of informational materials just because some people find it to be “offensive.”
“Amazon has just banned a book that calls for sane immigration controls, as opposed to the Biden regime’s border free-for-all,” Spencer writes. “Now that this precedent has been established, what will be next? Will Amazon start banning books that call for lower taxes, smaller government, sound fiscal policies, and the like? Will books opposing the Left’s climate change and gender fantasies also be banned?”
“(Oh, wait, that’s already happening, although Amazon reversed the ban on Abigail Shreier’s exposure of the transgender madness, Irreversible Damage, after an outcry.)”
While it is still true that Amazon is not the only bookseller in existence, the monopolistic company has done a lot of damage to knock out much of its competition. If trends continue, Amazon will become the sole arbiter of literature, banning whatever it pleases without consequence.
